Masermic iLOGS dataloggers to control the effects of the climate change in South-East Asia

South-East Asian countries are suffering alterations in their water cycle due to climate change, directly affecting their crops.

In the dry season, torrential rains take place and in rainy seasons are being much drier than usual. This makes that sometimes, saltwater reaches places in the river where it shouldn't, filtering into freshwater springs and crops.

Our local partner has deployed a network of 100 iLOGS dataloggers at strategic measurement points between Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos to control river levels, precipitation and salinity of the water.

In this project, autonomous iLOGS46 dataloggers have been connected to rain gauges, level sensors and salinity sensors to measure and control the mentioned variables. All this information is processed and sent to the corresponding government agencies to act accordingly.
