Masermic at CSPPLAZA_China_2017

Masermic is a member of the STELLIO Consortium along with the companies: Sbp Sonne and Ingemetal. The 14th of June was held the "China International CSP Station Conference & CSP PLAZA 2017 Annual Conference" where STELLIO was awarded with the Technological Innovation prize, facing a strong international competition. The STELLIO heliostat and the smart solar field design impact significantly in the solar field cost reduction, improving its performance, especially in solar plants above 50MW, minimizing the LCoE (Levelized Cost of Energy) factor.

The STELLIO Consortium offers turnkey solar field solutions based on central tower technology. The activity of Masermic in the STELLIO Consortium focuses on: electronic / electrical control systems for heliostats, Solar field communication systems, Solar field power grid and Solar field management software.


China has launched a major pilot solar plants development program to test and identify the technologies on which its CSP development program will be based for the years to come. The STELLIO Consortium is participating in the offer of several solar fields, up to 200MW , in collaboration with Chinese EPCs. The award reflects the excellent technological consideration of the CSP Chinese market for the STELLIO technology.
